Texas Medical Center opens new space for growing life science companies (Video)

The Texas Medical Center has officially opened the doors on its new space intended to be Houston's nexus for growing life science companies. TMC|x+ is a step above its next-door neighbor, the TMC's massive business accelerator— and similarly named — TMC|X. The new space is designed to fill the need in Houston's life science ecosystem for relatively small companies that need a place to conduct business but don't necessarily have the capital to seriously invest in their own space.

Each suite contains two private offices for executives and a general work space for up to six employees. Eventually, TMC|X+ will be equipped with lab space as well.
